Quality Control or ‘QC’ is the process of checking the quality and consistency of fabric shipments and dye-lots. At Bru, each time a new fabric collection is launched a master is created. Future repeat deliveries of these collections are checked against their master on receipt to ensure the fabric is a match to the original fabric launched into the market. Further to this our QC team collaborate with Labotex to test and check various attributes. Imperfections such weaving flaws and colour variance is part and parcel of the textile industry, therefore QC is vital in instilling confidence in our customers and maintaining consistency in our supply chain.
