A sheer is a translucent, lightweight curtain fabric providing both shade and privacy. Sheers are always woven wide width at Bru to enable the manufacture of continuous ‘room high’ curtains giving a seamless and uninterrupted look. Due to the weight of this fabric, some sheers include a weighted hem - a small amount of zinc is woven into the hem to keep the sheer curtain grounded against breeze throughout the day.
